Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Certified Epic Beaker System Analyst specialized in Beaker CP with strong knowledge of lab information systems and clinical workflows. You will lead design, build, testing, upgrades, and optimization of Beaker applications, ensuring compliance and reliable performance.

Partner with vendors and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) - Required.
• Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) Certification - preferred.
• Data Innovations certified or prior work experience required.
• 3+ years Beaker build experience.
• Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Haemonetics Blood Bank experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, testing for Epic Beaker modules and system upgrades.
• Provide Beaker and related Epic functionality expertise for design, build, testing.
• Analyze system capabilities, data requirements, reporting structures, and data controls.
• Maintain applications with vendors and tech teams to ensure reliability and performance.
• Plan development and deployment, proposing improvements and solving end-user issues.
• Lead data management and process improvement for assigned applications.
• Participate in downtime testing and support training content for users.
