Job summary

UCI Health seeks a functional and technical leader to develop, upgrade, and support clinical information systems, focusing on EpicCare inpatient solutions. The role includes managing large modules and guiding decisions that affect patient care.

You will participate in analysis and design of data communication between systems, collaborate across teams, and adapt to flexible hours including nights and weekends to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing or supporting EpicCare Inpatient or other Epic applications.
• Must be able to participate in 24-hour on-call rotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Ability to act as a project leader and project team member.

Responsibilities

• Develop, upgrade, enhance, and support clinical information systems.
• Maintain and manage large modules of enterprise clinical information systems.
• Facilitate decisions affecting applications and patient care practices.
• Participate in analysis and design of data communication links between systems.
