Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a proactive leader to oversee clinical information systems. In this role, you will manage modules of enterprise systems and facilitate key decisions affecting patient care. You will utilize your expertise in Epic EMR and work within a dynamic health system environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, relevant experience, and a commitment to problem-solving, ready to participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using/implementing/supporting an EMR in a hospital.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations.
• Must possess skills essential for performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage large modules of an enterprise clinical information system.
• Facilitate decisions affecting applications and patient care practices.
• Participate in design of data communication links between systems.

Skills

Working knowledge of perioperative workflows

Understanding of Work Flow Engine Rule and Order Transmittal

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to self-initiate and effectively problem solve

Ability to collaborate across the Health System

Education

Three years of Epic OpTime / Anesthesia build experience

Relational database structures
