Job summary

UCI Health, part of UC Irvine, in Irvine, CA, seeks a technical and functional leader to develop, upgrade, and support our enterprise clinical information systems. You will independently manage large Epic OpTime modules and related anesthesia build experiences while coordinating across Epic EMR modules.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of Epic OpTime / Anesthesia build experience
• Experience working with Epic EMR and its modules
• Must have working knowledge of client/server systems and relational databases
• Must demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to act as a project leader and team member
• Must be able to establish and maintain relationships across the Health System
• Knowledge of HL7 and interface/integration strategies is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development, upgrade, enhancement, and support of enterprise clinical information systems.
• Maintain and manage large modules of the clinical information system.
• Facilitate decisions and work efforts affecting applications and patient care practices.
• Participate in analysis and design of data communication links between systems.
