Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking a seasoned Information Technology professional to support identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions that integrate with existing systems.

You will prepare work plans for system upgrades, configure and maintain technical environments, evaluate workflows, and develop clear specifications and test scenarios while helping establish technology standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of EHR application build, implementation and support experience.
• 4+ years progressive information services or healthcare experience.
• Experience with small to medium implementation/upgrades.
• Test plan development and documentation.
• EPIC certification is expected upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares business work plans to support analysis and testing of system upgrades.
• Configures, implements, and maintains technical requirements across dev, staging, and production environments.
• Evaluates work processes and feasibility of small to medium project requests.
• Develops clear specifications and accompanying documentation as assigned.
• Plans, develops, and executes comprehensive test scenarios for validation.
• Assists in developing technology standards.
• Assists in estimating resources required for task completion.
• Completes assigned tasks by the due date or notes variances.
