Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an IT Application Analyst to support Epic Beaker and other clinical applications. The role involves design, testing, workflow validation, and collaboration with end users and vendors to deliver integrated solutions within the Epic landscape.

The ideal candidate has IT healthcare experience, Epic EHR familiarity, and will pursue Epic Application certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of IT, healthcare, EHR development, and/or implementation experience.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• Certification in the assigned Epic Application within six months of hire (two attempts max).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Epic and 3rd party applications for implementation and ongoing support.
• Perform comprehensive testing and document testing progress.
• Facilitate workflow design and validation with end users.
• Coordinate installation of application changes following change control processes.
• Provide on-call coverage and resolve incidents; escalate when needed.
