Job summary

UMC Health System seeks an IT Application Analyst Associate to support Epic Beaker and related applications within the Epic EHR ecosystem. The role involves design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support for clinical and laboratory workflows, collaborating with end users and IT teams.

Requirements include an RN license in Texas, at least two years in IT/healthcare or EHR-related work, and Epic EHR experience. Certification in Epic and ITIL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years IT/healthcare/EHR experience or related field.
• Epic EHR experience preferred; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse users and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Epic and 3rd party applications for implementation and support.
• Perform comprehensive testing and document testing progress.
• Coordinate workflow design and validation with end users.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows in applications.
• Provide on-call coverage and communicate status updates.
