Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks an Epic Analyst 2 focused on Beacon and Ambulatory modules to support the Epic Beacon workflows across the organization. The role includes oncology and infusion initiatives, operational improvements, and ongoing production support within the Epic environment.

Ideal candidates hold Beacon and Ambulatory certifications; Prelude and Cadence certifications are a plus. This remote role requires residency in one of the approved states and completion of required Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or healthcare operations, or 5 years if no degree.
• Must obtain Epic certification for the assigned area within 90 days of training or hire.
• Working knowledge of Epic Beacon and Ambulatory modules is expected.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, build, testing, validation, maintenance and ongoing support for Epic Beacon and related workflows.
• Support Beacon and Ambulatory workflows across Emory Healthcare, including oncology and infusion initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet goals and deliver enhancements.
• Act as educator and expert for system users, sharing knowledge with staff and superusers.
• Participate in routine meetings with department leaders to document and prioritize needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Epic Beacon certification

EpicCare Ambulatory certification

Epic Prelude certification (preferred)

Epic Cadence certification (preferred)
