Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Epic ASAP Trainer II to lead the training program for Epic EHR users. You will work with the training team, application coordinators, and managers to design and maintain comprehensive training across roles, ensuring successful adoption and proficiency.

You will apply advanced adult learning theory and instructional design to craft engaging materials, deliver sessions, and coach other trainers. Travel to assigned sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3–5 years IT or clinical experience required.
• Certification or accreditation in the specific application module within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with ASAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure training materials are concise and relevant.
• Collaborate with EHR Trainer I to deliver training in a professional atmosphere.
• Develop comprehensive training strategies with adoption leads and stakeholders.
• Create engaging content by developing curricula and training materials.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide one-on-one coaching to Epic users.
• Mentor other trainers and lead by example.
