Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a detail-oriented IT professional to support Epic applications in a clinical setting. You will map and analyze processes, translate user needs into system specifications, and collaborate with vendors and health-care professionals to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities include configuring systems, developing test plans, training users, and communicating progress and upgrades across clinics. A Bachelor’s degree and Epic Ambulatory experience or certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically 3 years IT/clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, analyze and improve Epic clinical and business processes.
• Translate user requirements into functional/technical design specifications.
• Perform system configuration to meet requirements.
• Develop test plans, cases and scripts; conduct unit, integration, system and user acceptance testing.
• Provide client training and develop training materials.
