Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst to support clinical and business workflows in Milwaukee. You will work with users and leadership to modify procedures related to Epic applications and explain functionality, ensuring full utilization of the systems.

You will assist with requirements definitions, contribute to testing, and help manage application upgrades while maintaining documentation and communicating progress to stakeholders. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year of experience in automated laboratory and/or business systems.
• Basic knowledge of Epic clinical applications and related systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify procedures due to Epic workflow changes; explain Epic applications to users.
• Assist users to utilize full Epic functionality.
• Prepare input for requirements definition including user procedures, flowcharts and preliminary reports.
• Assist in development of unit, integration, system, and end-user acceptance testing.
• Assist with impact analysis.
• Document current workflows, specifications, user manuals, procedures, and other information.
• Participate in testing, user training and results evaluation.
• Track standardized projects for Epic application areas and inform management of progress/delays.
• Maintain product documentation including requirements, specifications, installation instructions and test procedures.
• Assist in communicating project status and upgrades to clinic users.
