Job summary

aah seeks an Epic Applications Analyst in Milwaukee to support Epic PB & Claims workflows. You will collaborate with users and leadership to modify procedures and ensure users leverage all Epic functionalities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field and about 1 year of experience with automated systems; Epic certification within 6 months is expected. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically 1 year of experience in automated laboratory or business systems.
• Must obtain Epic PB & Claims certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating platforms and network software.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of change management processes.
• Ability to work with clinical/technical customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Works with users and leadership to develop/modify procedures due to Epic workflow changes and explains Epic applications to users.
• Assists users in utilizing the full functionality of Epic applications.
• Prepares input for requirements including user procedures, flowcharts, and screen definitions.
• Assists in developing unit, integration, system, and end-user acceptance testing and tracks problem reports.
• Sets priority for user requests and assists with impact analysis.
• Documents workflows, specifications, user manuals, procedures, and change/quality control docs.
• Participates in testing, user training, and results evaluation; tracks project progress and notifies management of delays.
• Monitors post-implementation issues and communicates patterns to senior analysts.
• Maintains product documentation and assists in scheduling/upgrading Epic applications.
• Maintains, enhances, and interfaces Epic applications; troubleshoots user problems.
