Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst to design, configure, test, and implement changes to Epic system applications. You will collaborate with Epic representatives, leadership, and subject matter experts to build workflows and support deployment across the organization.

The role involves coordinating testing, supporting upgrades, creating reports and dashboards, and guiding end-user training while maintaining PHI security and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and supporting Epic system applications.
• Ability to design workflows and improve clinical/operational processes.
• Proficient in testing, validation, and reporting for Epic deployments.
• Experience with change management and end-user training.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs needs assessment, software design, implementation, support, and reporting.
• Facilitates workflow design with SMEs to improve efficiency and quality initiatives.
• Coordinates unit and integration testing with test scripts.
• Supports change management and system deployments.
• Develops end-user training materials and supports training efforts.
• Ensures documentation standards.
• Identifies and analyzes issues with vendor assistance; escalates as needed.
• Manages application upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Creates reports and dashboards to support customers.
• Maintains system documentation and change control procedures.
• Provides direction to junior team members.
• On-call rotation duties as required.
• Develops policies with clinicians and IT team.
• Supports hospital interfaces and system integration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with policies and PHI handling requirements.
