Nationwide-Children is seeking an Epic Analyst to plan, design, build, validate, test, and implement Epic modules to support clinical and business workflows in our Columbus, OH area.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of healthcare IT systems analysis experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with CORE module builds. Epic certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of providing systems analysis support or related experience.
  • Experience in health care environments preferred.
  • Experience interacting with clinical or business areas to gather and understand workflow and technical requirements.
  • Epic certification preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Builds CORE module with minimal supervision and acts as Lead analyst on a build project when designated.
  • Supports CORE module, troubleshoots, and resolves system and customer issues.
  • Assists in the creation of build standards and test plans and considers potential system impacts.
  • Applies risk mitigation techniques using integration points with other modules.
  • Assists in preparation of support documentation and provides basic user training.
  • Ensures builds comply with hospital policy and compliance standards.
