Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks an experienced Epic Analyst to plan, design, build, validate, test, and implement information systems for Epic modules. The role supports CORE/EPIC workflows and ensures integration with other EHR modules, with minimal supervision and potential after-hours work.

The candidate will troubleshoot, prepare build standards and test plans, train users, and comply with IS standards and hospital policies, bringing strong communication and healthcare workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of systems analysis support experience, preferably in health care.
• Epic certification preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with Epic Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, Value-Based Analytics, and/or Campaigns modules is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs planning, design, build, validation, testing, and implementation of information systems for Epic modules.
• Works with minimal supervision to design, build, implement, and support core Epic module(s) and integration points with other EHR modules.
• Leads build projects as designated and troubleshoots issues, creating build standards and test plans.
• Prepares support documentation and provides basic user training and support.
• Ensures compliance with IS information assurance standards and hospital policies.
