Job summary

NORTH EAST MEDICAL SERVICES in Daly City, CA seeks an entry-level Epic Application Analyst to implement, configure, and support Epic Systems software to improve patient care and operations.

You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and administrators; responsibilities include deployment, end-user training, documentation, testing, and after-hours rotations; BA/BS or 2 years healthcare experience required; Epic certification preferred or must obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required or 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare maybe substituted.
• Preferred Epic Systems certification in one or more modules or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook).
• Ability to work on rotational after hours and Saturdays as needed.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology (JIRA) ticketing system (preferred).
• Previous experience with healthcare IT systems or Epic applications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for end-users experiencing issues with Epic applications.

• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Conduct training materials for end-users on the proper use of Epic applications.
• Create and update documentation related to system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in testing activities, including system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of Epic applications by conducting thorough testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project statuses.

Salary Range: $42.79 - $48.75 Hourly

This is an entry-level Epic Application Analyst position who plays a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and support of Epic Systems software applications within the healthcare organization. This position involves working closely with end-users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of Epic software to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
