Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, OR is seeking an Epic Analyst to design, configure, and maintain Epic applications across modules such as EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime, Radiant, MyChart, Cadence.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of Epic build experience, Epic certifications, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with clinical and IT teams.

Epic Analyst will possess strong technical proficiency and advanced skills to support, design, configure, and maintain Epic applications. This role involves a variety of duties, including but not limited to analysis, design, build, testing, documentation, training, implementation, reporting, and user support. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Epic applications meet clinical and operational needs, performing system testing, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within Epic's suite of applications and a solid understanding of clinical workflows, as well as the ability to independently manage smaller to medium-sized projects. The Epic Analyst should demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with users at all levels of the organization.
Required: Associate degreeminimum in a related field (Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, etc.) or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred: Bachelordegreeor other advanced degree in healthcare or IT-relatedfields.
Required: Epic certification in at least one Epic application (e.g., EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime, etc.).
Preferred: Additional Epic certifications or specialized training related to the candidate’s area of expertise.
Required: Minimum of three (3) years of direct Epic build experience as an Epic Analyst in a healthcare setting. Experience must include hands-on system build, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support within an Epic module.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional walking, standing, bending, or lifting light office items (up to 25 pounds). Visual acuity to view computer screens and read detailed financial documents. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. May berequiredto move throughout the healthcare facility, including administrative and clinical areas.
This position operates in a professional office setting within a healthcare facility. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The office environment is climate-controlled, well-lit, and ergonomically designed for extended computer work. While this role is primarily office-based and does not involve direct patient care, the employee may occasionally be present in clinical areas or interact with staff working in clinical environments. As such, there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases.The organization provides appropriate training and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed to ensure safety.
