Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II for the Anesthesia department. You will analyze requirements, configure Epic modules, test and validate functionality, and coordinate with users and technical teams for successful go-lives.

Experience with Epic systems is preferred; certification is required or obtainable within the designated timeframe. Travel and on-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, or healthcare IT experience including system implementation or production support.
• Epic certification in the assigned application(s) is required or must be obtained within the timeframe.
• Experience leading workstreams or mentoring colleagues is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intermediate-to-advanced requirements and configure Epic applications.
• Own complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis with cross-application troubleshooting.
• Plan and lead small-to-medium application projects and process-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with end users, Epic representatives, and technical teams to meet business needs.
• Develop and execute testing plans and validate production outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and create training materials and procedures.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced analysts and assist with go-lives and on-call support.
