Job summary

Children's National Hospital seeks an Epic Senior Analytics Developer to lead reporting for the Epic Cogito and related modules. You will build, validate, and optimize reports, dashboards, and data visualizations across the enterprise to support leadership and end users.

You will work with clinicians, administrators, and IT to translate requirements into actionable BI solutions, maintain documentation, and ensure data quality.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience in creating and maintaining reports and visualizations.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, SQL data extraction, and reporting.
• Expertise in OLAP, Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL, PLSQL, XML, HTML.
• Proficiency with Tableau and Power BI for analytics and visualization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI solutions architecture translating business needs to Epic reporting.
• Create and maintain Epic reports using Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards.
• Design dashboards and visuals to communicate KPIs and trends.
• Validate data, troubleshoot ETL/report issues, and ensure accuracy.
• Train users and document report specifications and data sources.
• Collaborate with Epic team to optimize reporting workflows.
