Job summary

Children's National Hospital seeks an Associate Analytics Developer to transform complex healthcare data into insightful dashboards and reports supporting claims, membership, provider operations, and regulatory reporting.

The role requires Epic certification within 6 weeks of training, a Bachelor’s in a quantitative field, and 2 years of experience in reporting and visualization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of experience in the creation and maintenance of reports and visualizations.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience with relational database concepts, querying and analyzing data using SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex findings clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analytics solutions architecture to translate business requirements into tech solutions.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT to translate reporting needs into EPIC reports.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain EPIC reports using Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards.
  • Create visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate KPIs and trends.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure report accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, or report generation issues.
