Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics seeks an Epic Analyst II on the MAPS team in Salem, Oregon. You will partner with clinical, operational, and IT colleagues to analyze, design, and optimize Epic applications that support patient care and workflow efficiency.

The role requires Epic certifications, healthcare background, and the ability to lead project work and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Health care or eight years of related work experience or an equivalent combination where each year of education equals two years of experience.
• EPIC Accreditation or Certification in MyChart.
• Minimum one year of Epic Certification with current NVT.
• Epic AMB certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, build, test, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Epic applications to support clinical and operational workflows across Salem Health.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, operational leaders, vendors, and IT teams to develop high-quality Epic solutions that align with organizational strategy.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues beyond Tier I support while maintaining system integrity and performance.
• Develop, document, and implement Epic configuration changes using build standards and change management processes.
• Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as a subject matter expert.
