Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc. seeks a skilled leader to oversee daily operations for the Epic Analysts team, coordinating with organization-wide Epic initiatives to meet SLA targets and ensure prompt issue resolution.

The role supervises Epic Ambulatory Analysts and related staff, participates in system upgrades, and drives performance through coaching, reviews, and cross-department collaboration within COPC.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires Epic Certifications or ability to obtain within 3 months; EpicCare Ambulatory Certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting using an EHR system (Epic preferred).
• Preferred: Epic Certifications include Data Courier Administration, Epic Testing Coordinator, and other Epic certifications that may be required later.
• Preferred: Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work assignments and project schedules to ensure timely outcomes; interviews and hires staff and facilitates orientation and development; maintains training materials and resources and reviews competencies.
• Coordinates staff schedules and provides hands-on support to maintain productivity; mentors and collaborates with other teams to support initiatives.
• Conducts performance reviews and addresses staffing concerns including conflict management and follow-up.
• Works with Epic Analysts to maintain record protection settings and ensure records move to appropriate environments timely, preserving referential integrity.
• Reviews Q notes to identify organizational impact and escalates concerns to management.
• Participates in system upgrades and vendor releases, including upgrade testing and planning.
• Collaborates with application teams to develop departmental change-control standards and monitors changes.
