Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar projects from planning through close-out. This full-time on-site role in Childress, TX requires travel and leadership of large labor crews, safety program development, and strong coordination with owners, subs, and suppliers.

The role demands expertise in scheduling, cost control, and project accounting, with CMiC/Bluebeam experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience is a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise self-performed work with large labor crews, managing labor, sequencing, and spend.
• Develop safety plans and enforce safety procedures on site.
• Oversee project billings to maximize cash flow and reduce pay cycles; manage aging receivables.
• Present and negotiate change orders with the owner for timely resolutions.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases; ensure timely buyout and delivery.
• Maintain schedule, cost forecasting, and site quality management plans.
• Lead project team, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
