Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC project management from pre-construction through completion and warranty periods. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations for EPC, construction, and program management projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry required.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs, trainings, and policies, and promote safety performance of project team members and subcontractors.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of one or more projects.
• Provide direction in planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and critical objectives.
• Develop client relationships and interface with the client for proposals and project items.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders; participate in risk reviews.
• Implement project execution plans including safety, quality, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate staffing, subcontractor management, and cost-effective utilization of staff.
