Job summary

Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab teams. The role involves scrub, circulate, monitor, and imaging duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures on adult patients.

Expect 11,000 procedures annually with a fast-paced environment and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a Cath Lab Tech/Special Procedures Tech in a cardiovascular setting, ARRT radiology

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiologic Technology certification; BLS/ACLS; state licensure as applicable.
• Requires 3 years Cath Lab/EP or 5 years Cath Lab EP with 2 years in moderate/high acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care within the Cath Lab and EP suite.
• Provides equipment education and supports EP program needs.
• Ensures safe, efficient patient care and documentation.
• Maintains equipment safety inspections and communicates repairs.
• Supports process improvement and quality management in the department.
• Demonstrates aseptic techniques and universal precautions.
