Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join the Cath Lab/IR team at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix. This PRN/registry role supports fast-paced procedures from imaging to equipment operation and directly collaborates with physicians and staff.

Ideal candidates will hold an ARRT radiologic technology certification, BLS/ACLS (PALS where applicable), and have Cath Lab/EP experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) as required by state law.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.
• Minimum 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience or 5 years Cath Lab EP with 2 years in moderate acuity/complex coronary environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed procedures following department/facility policies and protocols.
• Educate staff on medical equipment and EP program needs as applicable.
• Support patient care and ensure safe, efficient workflow in the cath lab.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety standards; assist in equipment maintenance.
