Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to support our Cardiac Cath Lab team in Mesa, AZ. The role involves performing prescribed radiographic procedures during cardiac catheterization, device implants, EP, and TAVR procedures, under physician guidance and in a multidisciplinary environment.

The position emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and high-quality imaging, with call responsibilities and required radiologic credentials.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or less than 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP or equivalent experience.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) as required by state law.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures by following orders and policies.
• Educates patients and families about procedures; demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures per policies and patient care.
• Performs quality control on imaging equipment and ensures safety and环境.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional responsibilities in radiology practice.
• Ensures efficient department workflow and maintains inventory to prevent interruptions.
• Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures for internal and external customers.
