Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center is recruiting a Special Procedure Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role works with physicians to perform procedures and provide clinical support while maintaining safety and compliance with department policies.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable, with 3+ years in Cath Lab or EP environments. This PRN position requires flexibility across shifts and is based in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS where applicable.
• Post-primary certification with minimum 3 years’ Cath Lab, EP, or equivalent experience OR 5 years Cath Lab EP with 2 years in a moderate acuity/complex coronary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for direct patient care and provides clinical support within the department.
• Education on medical equipment for physicians, nursing and staff; coordinates resources for safe patient care.
• Facilitates patient flow and interprets department policies within clinical setting.
