Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will assist during procedures, scrub, monitor, and support imaging staff in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and BLS/ACLS (PALS where applicable). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and experience in EP/Cath Lab is valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where applicable.
• Post-primary Cath Lab/EP experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in the Cath Lab.
• Educate staff on medical equipment and EP program needs.
• Facilitate patient flow and ensure safe, cost-effective care.
• Perform maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
• Support process improvement and quality management activities.
• Adhere to imaging ethics, privacy, and safety policies.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and proper disposal of supplies.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient department operation.
