Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine is hiring an Electrophysiology/EP Lab Tech for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am–5:00pm). The role focuses on providing technical support for diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including monitoring, equipment operation, and instrument handling.

You will scrub for procedures, prepare cardiac catheters and devices, and assist with medication injections from the sterile field under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS, RCES, or ARRT with 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech designation.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpretation.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including supplies and sterile field prep.
• Prepare and manipulate cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications from sterile field as directed.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
