Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine is hiring a Full Time Electrophysiology Lab Tech for day shifts (6:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday). No on-call requirement.

You will assist in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, manage supplies, equipment, and sterile technique, and support data documentation and patient care in a fast-paced cath lab environment. The role requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or equivalent cath lab/EP experience, allied health degree, and current BLS; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification in RCIS/RCES/ARRT or 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech credential is preferred.
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures; prepare supplies, maintain sterile field, and handle catheters and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications under supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Other duties as assigned.
