Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate the EP device program, providing direct patient care and database administration for pacemaker/ICD patients.

You will assist in pre- and postoperative education, perform device checks and reprogramming, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with EP physicians and device manufacturers. Cardiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Exercise Physiology program.
• RN or MCEP required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily EP device program functions and patient care.
• Perform device interrogations and programming.
• Educate patients and coordinate with EP physicians.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with device manufacturers on alerts/recalls.
• Ensure continuity of care between appointments and hospitalization.
