Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking an EP Clinical Coordinator (RN) to support electrophysiology patients across the health system. You will analyze device transmissions, coordinate testing, and educate patients while collaborating with EP Lab and referring providers to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, BLS, and at least 3 years in cardiology (CICU/telemetry) with ECG interpretation skills. Travel to multiple clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in cardiology, preferably CICU or telemetry setting, ECG interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Manage care of EP population to optimize outcomes with care goals.
• Analyze/interpret remote transmissions from pacemakers, defibrillators, heart monitors and smart watches.
• Coordinate testing and reduce ED visits by data-driven decisions.
• Provide education on medications, initiate same-day testing, and coordinate prior authorizations.
• Refill cardiac medications and ensure yearly follow-ups per guidelines.
