Job summary

HonorHealth's Cardiac Arrhythmia Clinic seeks a Cardiac Device Specialist to provide advanced technical and clinical support for CIEDs across multiple platforms. You will perform device interrogations, interpret electrograms, and manage remote monitoring while maintaining CMS billing compliance.

This role emphasizes patient safety and timely communication with EP providers. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in rhythm interpretation or device management, BLS, and IBHRE as a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry, or electrophysiology-related clinical setting
• 2 years experience in cardiac device management including in-office interrogations and remote monitoring
• BLS certification is required
• 12-Lead ECG competency or equivalent arrhythmia interpretation experience
• IBHRE certification preferred within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform Advanced CIED evaluations including pacing/sensing thresholds and lead impedance analysis
• Interpret IEGMs and discriminate arrhythmias using electrophysiology principles
• Troubleshoot device/lead malfunctions and perform multi-platform device programming
• Review and triage daily remote monitoring alerts with risk stratification
• Identify significant arrhythmias, inappropriate therapies, and plan provider escalation
• Ensure CMS-compliant documentation and billing integrity
