Job summary

Beaufort County Community College seeks an Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) Program Director to provide leadership, oversight, and day-to-day administration for the grant-funded program. The role drives participant recruitment, services, compliance, and data management in collaboration with college partners.

You will develop outreach strategies, coordinate workshops, and supervise staff while advancing access to education, FAFSA/financial aid, and workforce training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in counseling, education, psychology, participant personnel, public administration, or related field.
• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, facilitation, and implementation.
• Experience in student services, academic advising, adult education, college access, workforce development, community outreach, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, administration, and day-to-day oversight of the EOC program.
• Develop and implement program goals, activities, outreach strategies, and participant services per grant requirements.
• Ensure compliance with grant regulations, reporting requirements, college policies, and procedures.
• Recruit, enroll, advise, and support eligible participants via outreach and partnerships.
• Assist participants with educational planning, FAFSA and financial aid, career exploration, and workforce training.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, employers, and referral partners.
• Coordinate workshops, tutoring, mentoring, college-readiness activities, and financial literacy education.
• Maintain accurate participant records and ensure timely data collection and reporting.
• Monitor progress and use data to improve outcomes; prepare grant and program reports.
• Collaborate with college departments and represent the EOC at events and partner meetings.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned EOC staff; participate in meetings and professional development.
