Key Responsibilities

• Waste Collection and Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste from facilities within the park, including restaurants, retail stores, lodging, campgrounds, and public spaces.
• Sort and separate recyclable materials to promote sustainable waste management practices.
• Collect and transport compost, organics, and recyclables from the property to facilities in Klamath Falls.
• Operate and maintain waste collection equipment, such as trash compactors and recycling bins.
• Support employee engagement campaigns to help reduce waste sent to the landfill.
• Collaborate with other park staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and address cleanliness requirements for events or special occasions.
• Provide information and guidance regarding waste disposal and recycling practices within the park.
• Foster a positive and informative interaction with park guests, promoting a sense of environmental responsibility.

Working Conditions
