Key Responsibilities

• Waste Collection and Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste from facilities within the park, including restaurants, retail stores, lodging, campgrounds, and public spaces. Sort and separate recyclable materials to promote sustainable waste management practices. Collect and transport compost, organics, and recyclables from the property to facilities in Klamath Falls. Operate and maintain waste collection equipment, such as trash compactors and recycling bins.
• Communication and Coordination: Supporting employee engagement campaigns to help reduce waste sent to the landfill. Collaborate with other park staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleanliness requirements for events or special occasions.
• Employee and Visitor Engagement: Provide information and guidance regarding waste disposal and recycling practices within the park. Foster a positive and informative interaction with park guests, promoting a sense of environmental responsibility.

Working Conditions
