Job summary

BB&E is seeking an Environmental Site Lead for NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The on-site lead will coordinate the environmental program, supervise staff, and manage waste streams under CFR guidelines to ensure compliance and timely deliverables.

The role requires at least 3 years of site lead experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office; U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ Environmental Site Lead experience.
• Subject matter expert in waste management with regulatory compliance.
• Experience with federal/state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, coordination and supervision for Environmental Compliance program.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure timely contract deliverables.
• Lead, mentor and train junior staff on environmental programs.
• Prepare monthly technical reports and deliverables.
• Oversee hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance tasks.
