Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Market Sector Leader to drive strategy, growth, and delivery excellence across environmental services, spanning permitting, remediation, natural resources, and climate solutions.

The leader will influence across business units to align priorities, develop talent, and expand client relationships while maintaining high-quality project outcomes. The role emphasizes thought leadership, major pursuits, and a One Firm client experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree prerequisite in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (Geology, Environmental Science or related field also acceptable). Master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) preferred; equivalent environmental consulting leadership experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year market strategy and annual plan for the Environmental Services Market Sector.
• Lead or oversee major pursuits, capture plans, and client messaging; partner with marketing and business development on campaigns.
• Own sector performance: revenue, backlog, win rate, profitability, utilization; forecast workload and coordinate resources.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff across business units; build high-performing teams and establish talent development paths.
• Coordinate cross-sector planning and collaboration to deliver integrated solutions and client value.
