Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Somerville team. You will generate and close new business, build long-term client relationships, and provide tailored environmental solutions.

This role reports to the Vice President of Sales and requires a proactive hunter mentality, knowledge of environmental regulations is a plus, and willingness to regional travel to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience, preferably in Environmental Services.
• Experience selling into Industrial Manufacturing and Life Sciences.
• Familiarity with consultative sales techniques.
• Direct selling into Life Sciences, Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, or Healthcare.
• Must be self-starter with urgency to close.
• Willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close new and repeat business opportunities.
• Stay informed on market trends to effectively network.
• Collaborate to generate referrals and client introductions.
• Cold-call and prospect new companies matching target profiles.
• Master and sell all Triumvirate service lines.
• Use CRM to track leads, opportunities, and interactions.
• Maintain high sales activity to meet targets.
• Attend industry trade shows and events to build brand presence.
• Apply knowledge of regulations to build trust with customers.
• Develop long-term, client-centered relationships.
• Deliver exceptional service to wow customers.
• Apply Sandler Sales principles to navigate conversations and close deals.
