Environmental Service Supervisor (Full Time- Evenings)

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time - 40 Hours/week (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) with rotating weekends

Minimum Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services
• 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare, hospital, or commercial cleaning environment

Responsibilities

• Make independent decisions affecting daily operations, staffing, and projects.
• Perform routine responsibilities of a housekeeper and floor tech, including cleaning, trash disposal, hazardous waste disposal, terminal cleaning, and floor maintenance. Maintain linen inventory.
• Lead efforts to control costs, improve efficiency, and develop departmental goals.
• Process documents using computer, including payroll and time tracking.
• Monitor compliance with safety and sanitation standards, direct corrective actions, and report results.
• Assist in hiring, performance appraisals, coaching, disciplinary actions in consultation with management.
• Manage department activities in the absence of the Manager/Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
