Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks a Geologist II to join our environmental team. You will collect, synthesize, and document data from investigated areas and assist in preparing project documentation, with field support as needed.

You’ll work across multiple sites and office locations, applying rigorous data analysis and regulatory knowledge to ensure high-quality deliverables and safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to operate a vehicle under Brice Engineering policies.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and investigation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites using RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff writing documentation.
• Review processes to obtain permits, plans, reports, and licenses.
• Ensure proposals meet environmental requirements and standards.
• Prepare charts/graphs and summarize data relevance.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
• Support planning and RFP responses and assist junior staff.
