Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our team in multiple offices, including Grand Junction, CO. You will collect, synthesize and document data, support field activities, and contribute to project documentation to ensure client objectives are met efficiently.

The role requires a BS in environmental/physical science with 5–10 years of experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and solid communication skills for a high‑pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians in data collection and evaluation of data.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance and oversee project staff documentation.
• Review and document processes to obtain/update environmental permits and reports.
• Prepare charts/graphs from data samples summarizing environmental relevance.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
• Support project planning and RFP responses and mentor junior staff.
