Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Scientist II to join our team and support field and office activities from Anchorage, AK, and other locations. You will collect, synthesize, and document data from investigated areas, assist in project documentation, and provide field support as needed.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field, strong CERCLA/RCRA knowledge, and solid communication and teamwork skills to deliver high-quality environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science or related field.
• Knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA, NPDES, CWA, OPPA, CAA and related regulations.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable solutions.
• Strong communication, both oral and written, with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups following regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians in data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of sites using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance to project staff and assist in preparing written project documentation.
• Review permits, plans, reports, and licenses to ensure compliance and restoration objectives.
• Create charts/graphs from data and summarize environmental relevance.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
• Support junior staff and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
