Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Scientist II to join our team in Anchorage, AK, Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, or Grand Junction, CO. You will collect, synthesize and document data from investigated areas and assist in preparing project documentation, with field support as needed.

Ideally you bring a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and 5–10 years of experience, with knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA, regulatory compliance, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• 5–10 years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass drug and background screening.
• Experience with CERCLA/RCRA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians on data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations using CERCLA/RCRA guidance.
• Provide oversight and guidance to project staff on documentation and permits.
• Review environmental plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
