Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our Alaska team. You will work from Anchorage or Fairbanks or other listed offices, collecting and synthesizing data, supervising field activities, and assisting in project documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science, 5–10 years of environmental project experience, and strong knowledge of environmental regulations. Travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle under company policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups following guidelines.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance and oversight to project staff.
• Review permits, plans, and licenses to ensure compliance.
