Pace Labs in Mansfield, MA invites a Scientist I to join our Metals department in the environmental testing laboratory. You will perform hands-on analysis, using ICP-MS to detect environmental contaminants and ensure data integrity that supports communities and ecosystems.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or related STEM) and at least 8 chemistry credit hours with labs. Pace provides training, PPE, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or related STEM field.
• 8 chemistry credit hours with labs required.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).

Responsabilités

• Analyze environmental samples with ICP-MS to detect contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from analyses.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
