Pace is seeking a Scientist I for our Mansfield, MA environmental testing laboratory. The role involves hands-on analysis and use of instruments such as GC, HPLC, and ICP to assess air, water, and soil samples.

You will document procedures and results, ensuring high-quality laboratory records while maintaining instruments and PPE requirements. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field, and Pace provides training and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE.
• Willingness to receive training by Pace.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
