CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group in the United States. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will work on data quality objectives, QAPPs, and SAPs, and contribute to risk modeling, CSEMs, and BERA assessments alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field; professional scientist registration/certification preferred
• 7 years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation
• Willingness to travel up to 10% or more depending on duties
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may substitute for a degree

Responsabilidades

• Supports site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments
• Develops data quality objectives (DQOs), QAPPs, and sampling and analysis plans (SAPs)
• Prepares conceptual site exposure models, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs for various project scopes
• Collaborates with scientists, engineers and toxicologists to implement approved project approaches
