Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Remediation Intern in Virginia Beach or Reston, VA. You will work with project managers, scientists and engineers to support environmental services, including soil and groundwater sampling and systems maintenance.

Based in the Eastern US, you may travel and spend up to 75% of time in the field. The role offers hands-on experience and preparation for a professional career in environmental consulting at Jacobs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform field work.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
• GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, scientists, geologists and engineers in field activities.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and document field/lab data.
• Create technical reports detailing activities and results; travel may be required.
